At the end of June, erstwhile the first fire task was carried out with the M142 Himars strategy (around 24-25 June), the alleged “himarsing”, i.e. destroying Russian ammunition depots, command points in the rear and key logistics infrastructure facilities (e.g. bridges on the Dnieper), became a crucial component of the war. Initially, there were fewer M142 systems, but gradually their number increased - dense M270 joined the Himars light launchers, the ability of precise fire demolition at a distance of up to 80-85 km gradually increased. In the summer, the demolition of respective twelve ammunition depots limited the activity of NPLA artillery in selected directions, besides forced to reformat the logistics process - remoteness and dispersal of ammunition depots, decentralization of logistics, etc.
