Six charges.
The European Parliament unanimously waived the immunity of Euro MP Grzegorz Braun on the second criminal case of 2025. The first repeal took place in May and active 7 charges, including violations of physical inviolability, insulting the doctor – the manager of the National Centre of Cardiology and inappropriate behaviour in the Polish Sejm during the celebration of Chanuk candle inflammation.
The Wrocław territory Attorney's Office has six charges against Grzegorz Braun. According to their content, on 16 April 2025, in Oleśnica, Gynecologist Gizela Jagielska was to be imprisoned by blocking her exit from the cabinet, violating her physical immunity by pushing and holding, utilizing abusive words to her, and speaking by comparison to a Nazi criminal.
Earlier, on March 18, 2025, in Opole, Braun was to destruct 10 posters of the Rainbow Opole Association, resulting in a failure of PLN 5,327,19. On 14 December 2023, in an online interview, he was to publically call for spiritual hatred and to express his approval for the extinguishing of the Khanukian menor.
Suffering majority
Despite the early waiver of immunity to the leader of the Confederation of the Polish Crown, each fresh charge requires a separate motion from the prosecution, and the procedure for waiving immunity begins from the beginning. In a vote in the European Parliament, 554 Euro-Parliamentarians voted to waive the immunity of Grzegorz Braun, while 60 were against.
The European Parliament's decision on social media was communicated by Euro MP Michał Szczerba, publishing a photograph with the results of the vote and stressing that the immunity was waived by a crushing majority.
