Former spokesperson for children's rights in Russia Paweł Astachov wondered on Russian tv why inactive the Polish ambassador in Moscow was not found drifting in the river. He argued that he was within the limits of the law. The Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs reacted sharply to these words.
Sunday (30 April) Paweł Astachov - a Russian lawyer who in the past served as a spokesperson for the rights of the kid - in the regular propaganda program of Vladimir Solovov accused the Polish authorities of breaking the Vienna Convention.
"I must address the situation in Poland. What's going on is serious infringement of the Geneva Convention on Consular Relations, which since 1961 has been committed to all countries of the planet that keep diplomatic relations. And look what they're doing. They kicked them out of their apartments, kicked them out of the resort, frozen their accounts, and took all the money from our diplomatic mission, now the school's taken away.. How do we respond? Note, outrage, ambassador's call," Astachov said.

Astachov besides suggested that this kind of "retorsions and repressions" towards diplomats are permitted under global law and that so "he was taught in KGB school".
MFA calls on Russia to guarantee security
On Monday the Ministry of Polish Diplomacy referred to these statements, stressing that the Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs condemns Astachov's message suggesting that the assassination of the Polish Ambassador is acceptable.
"We call on Russia to guarantee the safety of all diplomats in accordance with the Vienna Convention" - wrote the MFA spokesperson in a communication.

On Saturday the city of Warsaw, in agreement with the Ministry of abroad Affairs, took over the building on 45 Kielce Street, where a advanced school run by the Russian Embassy was located.
"We took over another building illegally occupied by the Russian Federation on the basis of a court ruling, which additionally obliges FR to pay over PLN 31 million, along with interest for illegal business of Kielce 45" - wrote president of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski on Saturday on Twitter.

Government Plenipotentiary for safety of Information Space of the Republic of Poland Stanislaw Żaryn assessed on Sunday that Russian propaganda with quite a few aggression responds to the actions of the Warsaw authoritieswhich led to the takeover of the school building occupied illegally by Russia. As he pointed out, on this occasion the Kremlin falsely accuses Poland of aggressive acts against Russia, as well as violations of global law.
Lies are dissolved to show the expected aggression and hostility of Poland - he added.

He estimated that Russian communications were lyingly presenting the full situation, ignoring the apparent facts.
"Poland took action on the basis of a court ruling which ordered the return of the property occupied against the law. The building taken over by the bailiff had no diplomatic status. The actions of the Warsaw authorities aimed at ending the illegal usage of the building" - he calculated.
