Greenland wants to urgently implement the ban due to fear of Trump

The Greenlandic parliament is to urgently consider a fresh bill on the financing of political parties. The regulations are to prevent donations from abroad and limit the amount of full contributions. They could come into effect before the elections scheduled for April. The authors of the regulations do not hide the fact that they were created in consequence to the interest in the island that Donald Trump has late expressed.
