Deputy Minister of Digitalism Michał Grammar said that the acronym for Qualified Electronic Service, or KURDE, is not used. At the same time, he admitted that the shortcut was a not very happy word. There will be a change – he announced.
"Rzeczpospolita" noted that the acronym for Qualified Electronic Service was KURDE. The paper quotes the author of the petition addressed to the Sejm, who noted that the phrase "shit" in colloquial language is commonly utilized as a euphemist curse officially occurring in the Dictionary of Polish PWN.
RMF FM portal quoted Gramatics' statement: "Of course there'll be a change."
"First of all, we don't usage this acronym at all. The fact that a shortcut is in specified a not very happy word, is indeed an oversight. However, Poczta Polska promotes this service as Q-Service. I think it is simply a much more appropriate name" - said the Deputy Minister of Digitization.

Monika Gembicka of the Ministry of Digital Affairs Communication Office said "Rz" that the author of the word "Eligible Electronic Service" is not a ministry, but a legislator due to the fact that it was included in the Electronic Service Act of 2020. She added that the ministry recommends and uses service naming as: Qualified RDE Serviceand the Polish Post introduced the service as Q-Service.
Quoted by "Rz", Prof. Jerzy Bralczyk stressed that erstwhile creating service names officials should be careful.
"The short cut of KURDE may make many people laugh... but indeed it endangers the seriousness of state institutions" – he noted.
