In Moscow, Russia's erstwhile Deputy defence Minister General Gennady Zhidko, who served as commander of the aggressor group in Ukraine from May to July 2022, died on Wednesday, according to the Ukrainska Pravda portal behind Russian media and representatives of the authorities there.
