General Jarosław Gromadziński, the first Pole to be commander of the Eurocorpus, had to say goodbye to the army after the Military Counterintelligence Service took distant his access to secrets. In his first interview as a civilian – for Onetu – he revealed, among others, how he was treated by defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
I was the fortunate 1 that I was the only general in Poland to pass the full command way from platoon commander, brigade commander, division commander to corps commander. I was checked at all stage. The units I commanded were certified. If you're asking me what happened last March, I'll admit that even present I find it hard to answer that question.

He added that SKW had learned about its activities from its subordinates in Eurocorpus. The Polish service then sent a public letter to Strasbourg, where Eurokorpus is located, with information that it is initiating a review procedure against Gen. Gromadziński. He besides pointed out that the events that took place in Poland were carefully observed and analysed in the world.
The defence ministry's writing just made me laugh.
