On the night of 27 to 28 July, dramatic events occurred at Warsaw. 20-year-old Polka, who together with her friends played in 1 of the clubs in the center of Warsaw, became a victim of collective rape. According to her testimony, she met a Spanish citizen at the club who offered her a ride home. However, while driving, the girl lost consciousness and only woke up in a car with respective men.
Fortunately, the girl managed to escape. Around 5am she reached the bus halt in Janki close Warsaw, where the bus driver noticed her. The girl told him what happened, and he immediately called 911. Police officers from Pruszków came to the scene, who drove the victim to the hospital. Thanks to the club's surveillance footage, the police rapidly managed to identify the suspects.
Detention and Identity of Perps
According to the findings of the “Faktu”, the suspects are Colombian citizens who lived and worked in the Kosowska Wólka close Warsaw. All six men were between the ages of 20 and 30 and were legally resident in Poland. They've never been punished before.
Five men heard allegations of rape in common, while the sixth – who was expected to aid perpetrators – was charged with aiding. Against 5 of them, the court applied a three-month interim detention and a six-month free prevention measure.
