French citizenship not for everyone. Le Pen calls for a referendum on "earth law"

In accordance with the "earth law" the nationality of a given country is acquired by birth in a given territory. Thus, all persons born in France, regardless of their nationality and country of origin, can get French citizenship. However, more and more French are opposed to this rule. The referendum was besides called for by the leader of the French far right Marine Le Pen.
