France: erstwhile president Convicted. He's going to jail

Nicolas Sarkozy was sentenced to 5 years in prison after he was found guilty of acting in a criminal conspiracy in connection with his advisers' efforts to rise funds for Sarkozy's 2007 presidential run from Libya, at the time erstwhile Muammar Gaddafi ruled the country.
