France launches fresh generation SAR helicopters

The French Navy picked up the first of six ordered H160 helicopters to execute search and rescue missions (SAR). Wiroplanes are part of the temporary fleet provided by the consortium formed by Airbus Helicopters, Babcock and Safran chopper Engines. The machines are to be utilized until they enter the service of the military version of the H160M helicopter, but will besides be utilized to test the solutions to be utilized in it.
