The prosecution has charged erstwhile manager General of State Forests Józef K. with suspected harm to the Treasury. Justice Minister Adam Bodnar expressed his satisfaction with the improvement of the situation, stressing that “it must win fair Poland”.
Charges against erstwhile manager of State Forests
According to the authoritative communication of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Krakow, Józef K. is suspected of abuse of powers and non-compliance, which would lead to a hazard of material harm of at least PLN 2.302.200.

The opposition reaction was immediate. PiS MP Michał Woś threw Bodnar political motives for prosecution:
"The charges, due to the fact that a forester with a 40-year stint bought out a home where he has lived for respective decades – like 40,000 another foresters, according to the 1990 Act. Bodnar is only after him due to the fact that he is from Sovereign Poland. You will answer for the persecution of the pensioner” – announced the erstwhile Deputy Minister of Justice.
