93 years ago, 20 February 1933, the United States legislature passed 21. Amendment to the Constitution repealing 18. An amendment whose executive act was the celebrated 1919 bill by Congressman Andrew Volstead, president of the home of Representatives Judiciary Committee. There is most likely no specified part of government based on full democratic procedures, which would be more evidence that most of the prohibitions lead to other effects than those imposed by their supporters.
