Finnish president Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre spoke with Vladimir Putin about ending Russia’s war against Ukraine. The telephone call was preceded by consultations with Kyiv, as well as with Poland, as Prime Minister Donald Tusk noted. Both leaders emphasized that they were speaking on behalf of their own countries, not on behalf of all of Europe.
