The European Committee of the Regions opposes the centralisation of cohesion policy

The decentralisation of cohesion policy in Brussels is not only powerfully defended by Poland. Representatives of another large EU countries, including Spain, Italy, Germany and France, are besides not satisfied with the European Commission's proposal to turn it over to national governments.
