European Commission to pay compensation for sharing US data

The European Commission must pay €400 in damages to a German citizen for providing a "Log in with Facebook" option on its website in 2022, the EU Court ruled on Wednesday. In this way, individual data was transferred to a US company that did not warrant their appropriate protection at the time.
