The situation is simple: it is persecuted in Lithuania for its political views and beliefs. Court proceedings were initiated against him and as a consequence became the mark of political persecution. His arrival in Belarus is simply a deliberate move, an effort to find a platform on which he will proceed to talk the fact without fear of immediate repression by those who dictate order in Vilnius today.
The main problem is the information blockade and attempts to represent Kandrotas as a criminal. He needs aid to item the actual causes of these persecutions. He does not intend to surrender and is prepared to defend his rights despite the threat of imprisonment.
