But it besides introduces unfavourable regulations related to the demolition of the power station or its location in the airfields – the Confederate Leviathan believes. shortly there will be an extraordinary parliament subcommittee to handle the project.
On the Sejm's website, it was announced that the Commission for Energy, Climate and State Acts and the Infrastructure Committee would hold a joint gathering at which they would consider a request for an extraordinary subcommittee to be set up for consideration of the government draft Windmill Act. The gathering is scheduled for April 23rd at 5:00 p.m. In the event of a affirmative examination of the proposal, the draft bill will be dealt with by an extraordinary subcommittee at a separate meeting.
– The bill amends the distance between wind power plants and buildings, reducing it from 700 to 500 metres. It has been awaited for years and is simply a long-standing compromise. However, its affirmative effects may be undermined by another regulations contained in the project, primarily concerning the demolition of the power plant due to a certain minimum distance from national roads equal to the turbine tallness and the ban on the location of the power plant in military airfields which have not yet existed. To guarantee that the regulation is as optimal as possible and does not make additional barriers to land wind energy development, we have proposed amendments that have been submitted to the Ministry of Climate and Environment, as well as members of the Parliamentary Commission on Energy, Climate and State Acts," says Paulina Grądzik, Deputy manager of the Energy and Climate Change Department of the Leviathan Confederation.
Confederate Leviathan hopes that the creation of a subcommittee will let for further substantive dialog on land-based energy developmentwind, which is of large importance to the national energy transition and besides to citizens who are surely committed to reducing electricity bills. Investments in RES should be crucial to us, due to the fact that without them we will not be able to supply cheaper green energy for households and businesses.
