The longest pier in the Baltic Sea is in Sopot. It is available free of charge from Tuesday. So far, the entrance had to be paid, but now the city authorities decided to introduce free access. Since April, over 1.1 million people have visited the pier in Sopot, as reported by the city.
By 30 September there were tickets to the pier entrance. average ticket cost 10 PLN and a reduced half of this amount. A full of 1,022,502 people bought the tickets, which is almost identical to the erstwhile year (1 103,765). The most entrances were recorded in August erstwhile 318,064 people entered the pier.
65 percent of tickets sold are average tickets, 14 percent are group tickets and 10 percent are household tickets. Reduced tickets accounted for 6 percent, and people over the age of 70 bought 5% of tickets. Interestingly, 85 percent of tickets were purchased at the cash registers located on the pier, 7.5 percent in ticket machines, and only 3 percent via the website.

The free entrance to the pier will apply until April 10, 2025. It is worth noting that the people of Sopot had already enjoyed this privilege throughout the year.

Construction and materials
