DUBAI- Emirates Airline (EK) announced the addition of seven new destinations to its A350 service network as more newly delivered aircraft equipped with the airline’s latest cabin innovations enter scheduled service.

The expansion will extend Emirates’ A350 coverage to short and medium-haul destinations in the Middle East/GCC and Europe while marking the aircraft’s first appearance in Africa and Southeast Asia.

Emirates A350 New Destinations

Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, emphasized the strategic nature of the expansion.

Kazim further noted that integrating the A350 into existing route schedules strengthens Emirates’ competitive position in the market.

Following are the new cities served by Emirates A350s:

  • Starting June 1, Emirates will operate the A350 six times weekly to Tunis on flights EK 747/748, excluding Tuesdays.
  • Daily A350 service to Amman will also commence on June 1 on route EK 905/906.
  • Istanbul will welcome Emirates’ A350 featuring the latest cabins beginning July 1, with daily operations on flights EK 117/118.
  • The July 1 also marks the A350’s first appearance in Saudi Arabia, serving Dammam on flights EK 827/828.
  • The aircraft will make its Southeast Asian debut on August 1, operating daily flights EK364/365 to Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Baghdad will receive A350 service three times weekly (Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday) on flights EK 941/943 starting August 3.
  • Oslo becomes the seventh new destination, with daily A350 service on flights EK 159/160 beginning September 1.

Emirates confirmed it will announce additional A350 destinations, including long-haul routes, in the coming months as new aircraft join its fleet.

A350 Service to Existing Routes

Emirates will enhance its Airbus A350 operations by adding more services to Bahrain and Kuwait alongside the seven newly announced destinations.

  • Bahrain will transition to an almost exclusive A350 operation with the addition of a third daily flight (EK 835/836) starting June 1.
  • Kuwait will receive a second A350 service on the daily EK 857/858 route beginning October 1.
  • Bologna’s first A350 service will now start June 1, one month earlier than previously announced.

Tickets for all seven new A350 destinations are now available for purchase through emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates Retail Stores, and travel agents.

The Emirates A350 features a three-class configuration accommodating 312 passengers: 32 next-generation Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout with mini-bars, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 Economy Class seats with generous pitch.

The cabin design reflects Emirates’ commitment to premium passenger experiences and enhanced comfort across all classes.

Travelers will experience numerous technological innovations onboard, including wireless charging in Business Class, electric window blinds featuring the Emirates Ghaf tree motif in premium cabins, touchscreen call bell buttons integrated into the ice inflight entertainment screens, digital menus accessible through the entertainment system, and 60-watt USB-C charging ports at every seat with dual Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones.

The next-generation ice system offers cinematic displays with 4K and 4K HDR resolution on responsive touchscreens.

Emirates notes that deployment dates may be adjusted earlier if aircraft deliveries occur ahead of schedule.
