Equilibristism of Minister Adam Bodnar

The Minister of Justice, Adam Bodnar, showed off yesterday during an interview on Zet radio conducted in front of editor Rymanowski. Responding to a question from 1 of the listeners, Minister Bodnar stated that supporting firefighters volunteers to hand out wellness and life-saving equipment including fire-fighting cars financed by the Justice Fund managed by Minister Marcin Romanowski is simply a crime, but it is not specified a crime to support police officers buying cars by president Trzaskowski and handing them over during the ongoing presidential campaign. The Minister, pressed by another question by ed. Rymanowski, stated that Trzaskowski is implementing a multi-annual program of police support by the capital city of Warsaw, and the Justice Fund does not have support for the TSO in its statutes.

Only that this is not true, as Minister Romanowski explained on respective occasions, the support for the TSO in the form of fire-fighting cars and equipment saving the lives of victims of traffic accidents was passed on to municipal authorities as part of multiannual programmes since 2017. These programs were based on the Minister of Justice's Regulation on the Justice Fund and Article 43 of the Implementing Criminal Code, and as invaluable is the assistance of volunteer firefighters almost immediately after a communication accident, due to the fact that most frequently they are the earliest on the scene of tragedy and they can reliably measure only victims of specified or their witnesses. Moreover, 1 of the crucial sources of power for the Justice Fund is the grievances judged by the courts as an additional punishment for drunk traffic accidents. The Justice Minister overseeing the Justice Fund, so he is deliberately lying, due to the fact that granting the right to the questionable comparing the situation of police and firefighters handing cars to police officers and firefighters would mean that the prosecution of the erstwhile Deputy Minister supervising the Fund for specified decisions, among another things, is simply a political revenge, ordered by Prime Minister Tusk.

Unfortunately, this message by Adam Bodnar shows that both Prime Minister Tusk's message "we will apply the law as we realize it" and his own "restore constitutionality and search any legal basis to do so" apply throughout the scope. What members of this government or persons associated with them do is always legal. What the current opposition was doing, erstwhile it ruled, was committing crimes, although so far there is no evidence. Even specified an obvious, completely comparable situation, supporting the police by Trzaskovsky with cars purchased for the funds from the Warsaw budget and supporting the TSO buying fire-fighting cars financed from the Justice Fund, turns out to be a origin for glory in the first case, and in the second case a crime pursued absolutely, even with ostentatious violations of the law.

This attitude of Minister Bodnar, after all, a prof. of law, and besides for 5 years the Ombudsman, is rather shocking, combined with hard facts, cynically lying. He pretends that he does not know that the Justice Fund is simply a fund to aid victims, and firefighters volunteers are a uniform formation, which is most frequently the first in all kinds of communication events, outside large cities. This velocity of assistance saved the lives and wellness of many victims of communication accidents, which is confirmed by all Polish statistic and it is advanced time for the Minister of Justice to halt carrying out revenge on the current opposition, ordered by the Prime Minister, and returned to the application of the law, not as the Prime Minister understands it, but as described in the Constitution of Poland and in the laws in force in Poland.
