The U.S. exit from 66 global organizations confirms that the global order formed after planet War II no longer exists and has been destroyed – the president of the Parliament of Georgia believes. As stated by Madwa Papuaszvili in a conversation with journalists, the deficiency of the United States in specified structures undermines their authority and credibility.
U.S. president Donald Trump signed a decree to exit the United States from 66 global organizations, including 31 operating under the auspices of the United Nations. Trump's administration describes them as “settling, inefficient and harmful”. The Venice Commission is besides among the organisations on the list.
‘WhenAmerica comes out of thesethe organization, arguing that these are useless and wasteful structures, in itself shows that their seriousness has already been undermined, and one more time confirms what we talked about – the global order no longer exists," Papuaszvili stated.
The politician peculiarly distinguished the U.S. decision to leave the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, stating that it "has evolved into a political commentator".
“[The Commission] has become a political tool against any countries, a tool to impose on them various instruments or institutions, in accordance with a circumstantial political agenda. With respect to Georgia, this has been clearly visible many times when, alternatively of opinions and legal assessments, we have seen political conclusions and comments, which clearly prevails in the reports of the Venice Commission and what we have been talking about, including the Venice Commission itself, during meetings," Papuaszvili said.
