Karol Nawrocki, who won the Sunday elections, met president Andrzej Duda. During the meeting, the current political affairs were discussed and Nawrocki took over the Presidential Palace in August.


Around 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday, President-elect Karol Nawrocki entered the Presidential Palace, where he met with president Andrzej Duda. The gathering took place just after his triumph in the Sunday elections in which he defeated Rafał Trzaskowski.

"Mr president Andrzej Duda, thank you for gathering me," he wrote in his X account before 22 p.m.



– He is preparing (Karol Nawrocki-ed.) to meet president Andrzej Duda. (...) Immediately after the interview at Polsata I will go to this meeting, I will accompany the president of the elect – said Paweł Head of his staff in a conversation in the "Guest of Events" in Polsat News.

– There are a number of topics that request to be discussed, including those relating to the continuation of the office, and how to do all this. (...) I am glad that in specified a good atmosphere this office will be handed over to president Karol Nawrock – he explained.

Nawrocki took the level after the election


Let us remind that on Monday (2 June) there was an extended entry in Karol Nawrocki's account on X. This was the President-elect's first comment after the authoritative results were announced by PKW. The PiS candidate scored 50.89 percent and it was him who would take over the agenda after Andrzej Duda in early August.

"Thank you for all word and motion you have given me. For all my support in this highly hard fight for Poland. We won together for the sake of our beloved homeland" – we read.

And then, "I'll do my best to meet your expectations. You can be certain that as the head of the state I will not forgive any of the matters crucial to Poland and Poles. I will represent you decently on the global stage, guarding Poland's subjective treatment".

"I felt that you were with me, despite the many manipulations and the wave of hatred that poured out on me and my family. We want to live in a safe, economically strong country that cares for the weakest. A country that counts in international, European and transatlantic relations. A country taking care of its centuries-old tradition and respecting history," Nawrocki wrote.
