U.S. president Donald Trump, following talks with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, stated that he was able to establish a preliminary framework for an agreement with the Alliance on the future of Greenland. However, the Greenlandese parliamentarian points out that the Alliance has no mandate to negociate the future of the island.
