According to Bloomberg, the United States has moved its atomic weapons to Britain. It is at least a fewer B61-12 thermonuclear bombs that went to the British base in Lakenheath. According to experts, this is the signal that Washington sends Moscow – that the current US administration is inactive active in ensuring Europe's security.
B61-12 are tactical charges, their earlier versions have already been stored in the UK. However, in 2008, the US authorities decided to retreat their atomic weapons from the British Isles. Since then, the only American atomic warheads in Europe have been in a common allied resource, within the framework of National atomic Sharing Program (It is about respective twelve pieces). Of course, the British and the French besides have their own warheads.
A plan to neutralise the royal circuit
According to Bloomberg's findings, the spread most likely occurred on July 16 – then the American military aircraft C-17 launched from the U.S. atomic depot at Kirtland Air Force Base in fresh Mexico and landed at Lakenheath Base. The "UK Defence Journal" portal has already 5 days later reported the event, indicating as a destination for the recently built warehouse bombs in Lakenheath. Officially neither American nor British authorities comment on these reports—but they do not deny them either.
Information on the transfer of bombs is accompanied by another crucial signals. The commander of the U.S. land forces in Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF), General Christopher T. Donahue, late admitted that NATO had developed a plan to neutralize the King. According to the general's public declaration, specified an operation would happen in the event of a full-scale conflict with Russia. Its assumptions are intended to be part of a fresh allied strategy, known as “The Scaring Line on the east flank”.
– We've already planned it and developed it. The problem is the possible and dynamics that Russia creates for us. We have developed opportunities to solve this problem," said the gene. Donahue on 16 July at the inaugural LandEuro conference in Wiesbaden, where representatives of NATO army and the arms manufacture met.
The general spoke of destroying Russian military possible in the royal circuit "in an unprecedented time and faster than always before." In response, Moscow utilized its permanent argument, recalling the advanced level of readiness of its own atomic forces.
Need for force to multiply the cost of war
This cold war rhetoric is simply a novum in US–Russia relations, if you consider Donald Trump's "soft course" to date. Importantly, the American president no longer hides irritation. – I am very disappointed with Putin – he admitted in an interview on 28 July. During his gathering with the media, Trump announced that he was shortening the time he gave Vladimir Putin to enter into a peace agreement with Ukraine.
Let's remind you, On 14 July, the president of the United States gave the Russians an ultimatum. He gave them 50 days to deal with the Ukrainians and threatened that if this did not happen, then the US would impose advanced duties on Russia, including secondary duties of 100% on countries that buy Russian natural materials (including China and India). Moscow has not been completely afraid about this and continues not only on the front but besides terrorist drone raids on Ukrainian cities.
– I am reducing the time I gave Putin," stated the American president, after which he clarified that Moscow has 10–12 days to bring about a breakthrough in peace talks with Ukraine. “I am giving him little time due to the fact that I think I already know the answer, I know what will happen,” Trump said.
The Russian stock exchange reacted with panic – on 28 July, within an hour, the shares of listed companies fell by $1.4 billion. But how will Vladimir Putin react? According to experts, Trump's determination and assertiveness are key. The military threats must besides be followed by economical pressure, which will increase Russian war costs.
