Donald Trump and the Black Screenplay

Michael Moore, American documentary author and director, winner of the 2004 Golden Palm at the 57th IFF in Cannes for a painting criticizing the presidency of George W. Bush – "Fahrenheit 9.11." in the book "White Fools" writes:

"Four million Americans cannot read and compose above the 4th grade – in another words, they are secondary illiteracy [...] Since I live in a country where 44 million cannot read – and most likely another 200 million can, but does not read – then, friends, we live in a truly scary place. A country that not only mass-produced illiterate students, but does everything to stay uneducated and stupid, is simply a country that should not regulation the planet – at least until most of its citizens can point to the map of Kosovo (or any country to which the US has dropped bombs) [...] In our wonderful land of abundance, little is always more erstwhile it comes to burdening any of the hemispheres of the brain with facts, numbers, critical thinking, or knowing anything...”

These words were written by the author following a selection Georg W. Bush president of the United States. Michael Moore as Bush's fierce critic portrays American society — let's face it — as a nation of “fools” who choose “fools”. How could it be otherwise? Of course, you can approach it with a wink. Nevertheless, it is worth considering, on the basis of the facts set out above, the intellectual condition of American society. In this context, the question arises. If, in 2000 and again in 2004, the Americans chose to be president, according to Moore, of the same "idiot", could something have changed for the better after more than 20 years since these events? American society wised up? I think, on the contrary, it could only have changed for the worse. Moving on with this line of thinking, you can ask another question. Is the choice Donald Trump Is it a bad choice due to the fact that the “fool” Americans have chosen another “fool” to lead their country?

I'm not saying Donald Trump is out of his mind. Although the qualities of character and narcissistic personality rise many doubts about his intellectual health. I remember his first term. How arrogant and irresponsible he was. What mistakes and mistakes he made. With all this in mind, I am present full of concern about what Donald Trump will be president. Did he change and learn from his mistakes? We don't know that, but we surely can't fall into a hurrah of optimism and euphoria, as the full camp of “pseudopatriots” does, which sees a proverbial knight on a white horse in Trump. We do not know what descendants of German expatriates have plans in a vital issue from our point of view, or war in Ukraine. Before the election, he made it clear that he would shortly finish it. If Donald Trump actually wants to end the war, at any cost, then the question is, how will he end it? Will there be room? If so, will it be a peace based on strong foundations and lasting? And yet what function does Poland see in the peace agreement?

I will effort to answer this last question in the remainder of the text. For now, I'm going back to Michael Moor and his books. The chapter I quoted above is called “The Country of Idiots” and begins with the question, “Do you sometimes feel like you are surviving in an idiot country?” I will paraphrase this question by addressing it to you readers: “Do you sometimes feel like you are surviving in a country where idiots rule?” On second thought, I answer this question yes and I am certain that you will agree with my opinion. Like me, you are very well aware of the absurdity and foolishness of our political elites around us. The proof of my thesis is rather impenetrable. From “ministers of Ukraine”, to “putin to the ground”. From accusers of “unculism” and devoid of common sense, to trackers of “Russian agents”. The names of the creators of all these ulańsko-spyowskie nonsense, could be placed in a large technological work in psychology.

Our country, headed by a foolish political elite, will be tested. I have no uncertainty that this is an crucial minute in our history. In my opinion, the election of the president of Poland was never so crucial before. How we will last this test as a nation will, unfortunately, depend mostly on this elite, which has been following 1 and the same way for 2 years. By the way of submission and submission to an Anglo-Saxon ally. By the way of the Ukrainianization of Poland and confrontation with the hated east neighbour. And I am certain that our rulers will want nothing more than to keep the current position quo and keep a faithful relation with the United States. In a word. Let's forget about any sovereignty erstwhile and for all and prepare to be murdered so far unknown to us. Will we be able to argue this in any way? Will Polish society yet be cured of marazm and inactivity?

The fresh Polish president will be determined by his strongness, in a peculiar way, by good relations with his “great brother”. Even if the another side can not necessarily depend on the same thing she proved six years ago. How Americans treat Polish President, how Donald Trump treats Polish president and can besides be said Poles, we could see in September 2018, during the visit of the president Andrzej Duda in the United States. The consequence of this visit was an accepted declaration of cooperation signed by both presidents in the presence of planet media. There would be nothing different about it if it were not for 1 very crucial fact. Andrzej Duda signed the paper standing while Donald Trump sat comfortably in his chair. This event was a global event and should be remembered. "The scope of what happened is about an component of the state's image," he commented in a conversation with "wprost.pl" Dr Janusz Sibor, Diplomatic Protocol Expert. Let's be honest. It wasn't an insult or a proverbial "police" to the face. It was a simple humiliation of the majesty of the head of the Polish state. And if Donald Trump did it once, he'll most likely do it again. He will treat all Polish president "out of a shoe" if he considers it essential and right, no substance who he is and what political camp he will come from.

This example from 2018 clearly shows Trump's intentions towards Poland in the context of the end of the war. We have our place in line and there can be no respect. We're not an equal partner for Americans, and it's not a discovery. We've known that for a long time. And let me be blunt — we have earned it! Only a fool can live the hope that this will change. all sucking up to Trump, all hideous vasening, but besides above all, coming out in front of the ranks, to show that “we can”, is not only infantile, naive, and stupid, but will lead us to demolition again. What they do not want to accept into the consciousness of the ruling Poland and prove to us at all step that they are willing to sacrifice the welfare of society and the welfare of our state, in the name of a relation with a country that does not take us seriously.

The proof of what our politicians would be capable of is simply a fresh message by the Deputy abroad Minister, Mr. Andrzej Szejna “ We encourage the Donald Trump administration to look philosophically and politically at this, ” quoted the Zet Radio. Firstly, this peace must be concluded in accordance with global law. Secondly, we truly encourage – and this is what Prime Minister Donald Tusk was talking about, and Minister Radosław Sikorski said about it, that we are ready to take over a large part of the support costs and we are reasoning about it and we are working in this direction to support Ukraine [...] we are ready to accept bigger burdens, costs”. It is not possible to pass by these words. I can barely halt emotion. I don't know how you can fall that low. And how else can you call it stupid?

I'll go back to the question I put at the beginning of the text. What function does Donald Trump play in the future peace treaty for Poland? We don't know that yet, and we can only guess. Officially, President-elect will take office in January 2025 and then we will know his actual intentions. But now, in public space, there are symptoms of what might happen to us. Unfortunately, I must say that these are not optimistic visions. Let me present this disadvantage to Poland.

In exchange for giving up Ukraine's control over part of its territory as part of a signed peace with Russia, Donald Trump promises Ukraine any form of protection of fresh borders. This protection will, of course, be commissioned by Poland. It is interesting to note the topic, about which our media, described, among others, by the "New York Times" about the offer (not)president Volodymyr Zelenski on natural resources. Ukraine has in its possession natural resources worth well over $20 trillion. These include lithium, titanium or graphite. Zelenski's offer could be a "payment" for a favorable American position towards Ukraine. The Americans would take over any of these resources, and as part of the "business arrangement" they promise military presence. Not their precious military units, but the military presence of Poland. So it is highly likely that it will be mainly on our shoulders that both sides of the conflict comply with the peace agreement.

This black script could work. That would be the worst solution for us. I cannot imagine stationing Polish soldiers somewhere in the east of Ukraine right next to the fresh border with Russia. On land with dead soldiers fighting. Even if we presume that apart from Poland there will be soldiers from another European countries. This is an unacceptable solution for me, as a Pole. I think most readers will agree with me. It may be that, after a comparative period of peace, we could witness any provocation from both sides, a breach of the points of agreement, a sense of harm or a reaction of rebellion. This could lead to a second outbreak of conflict, and Polish soldiers would be in its center.

Unfortunately, but it may turn out that after a period of large enthusiasm and admiration over Donald Trump's win, with his hopes and expectations aroused, there will come a large deal of bitterness over his decisions.. I can imagine the sobriety and shock that Polish society can experience after the peace agreement has been announced. Especially those who so willingly incite to war today. Those who so eagerly want to "beat Russian" "wukrain". This situation may change the full perception of war, which will be able to suspend, but it will be Polish sons and husbands who will be straight exposed to failure of wellness and even life. While serving in military service in constant danger, far from their families and standing eye to eye with the tragedy of war.

And how does our political elite find itself in all this? What will our rulers do erstwhile 1 or both parties break peace agreements? How will they get out of this hard situation? "Nothing is as precious and fleeting as peace," the classical said. Peace, especially the 1 established at any cost, may prove fragile and in time worthless erstwhile the Ukrainians and Russians re-take arms. And then there won't be anyone left to number on. erstwhile she's shown the story. For stupidity sooner or later, you're gonna gotta pay the price. The price could be high. And from this place, I do not thank you ruling Poland, and I curse a 100 times.
