Second Day Defence24 Day on 1 panel discussed the Russian doctrine of the usage of atomic arsenal, the dangers associated with it, the policy of Russian blackmail with these weapons, as well as the means of defence and deterrence of NATO. The panel moderated William Alberque of the global Institute for strategical Studies. Speakers included James Jay Carafano (expert in the field of national safety and abroad policy challenges, The Heritage Foundation), Robert Pszczel (expert of the Puławy Foundation, erstwhile manager of NATO Information Office in Moscow) and Anna Maria Dyner (Polish Institute of global Affairs).
