Fourth OPV patrol for Marina Militarye

The contract for the construction of the first 3 units of this type, with the option for the next three, was signed on 31 July 2023 with the joint venture company Orizzonte Sistemi Navali, in which the Italian armed companies Fincantieri (51%) and Leonardo (49%) share. The value of the current contract, including the logistics package, is around EUR 236 million. Of which, Fincantieri, liable for the construction of the ship, is expected to receive about EUR 163 million and Leonardo, who will supply electronic equipment and weapons, will receive around EUR 70 million.
