Lithuania will grow conscription. From 2032, up to 7500 appointed annually

Lithuania intends to introduce universal conscription of young men from 2032. Arrangements on this substance were adopted on 29 October by the State Defence Council chaired by president Gitanas Nausėda. The number of people entering compulsory service is expected to increase from more than 5,000 to around 7,500 per year.
