Czech Republic to increase defence spending

On 15 September this year, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala confirmed that defence spending should scope 2% of GDP in 2024. Initially, the government program envisaged achieving this goal by 2025 at the latest. Prime Minister Fiala besides stated that the country's precedence was besides to proceed to aid Ukraine.
