Czech Republic in German-Russian gas trap

The Czech Republic, which consumes nearly 7 billion m3 of gas per year (6.7 - 2023), was completely dependent on Russian gas in 2022. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it became apparent that the country urgently needed alternate supply routes. So the talks about the Polish-Czech gas pipeline - Stork II - were resumed.
