The ultimate Court was to leave without further adjournment the election protest submitted by MP KO and lawyer Roman Giertych – RMF FM reported on Friday. The motion that went to court 2 weeks ago was treated this way due to formal deficiencies. The decision was made yesterday – stated writer Tomasz Skory.
Confusion of Giertych's electoral protest
Gierty claims the opposite. "That's bullshit. My protest has not yet been recognized by SN. delight don't mislead" – he wrote a politician on X.
Let us add that the ultimate Court has already completed the last of the 3 Friday-planned electoral protests after the second circular of the presidential election. 2 of them were recognised as valid, covering a full of 12 regional electoral commissions in which the ballots were examined.
Moreover, the ultimate Court has already set a date for an open sitting on which a resolution on the validity of the presidential elections held on 18 May and 1 June will be adopted. The proceeding will take place on 1 July at 1 p.m. in area A.
Criticism of Manowska's actions on electoral protests
As we wrote on Temat.pl, the constitutionalist Dr Wojciech Italian criticized the disrespectful approach of the First president of the ultimate Court of Margaret Manowska to electoral protests. He explained that each of them, even folded "from a machine", is just as crucial and equally worthy of consideration. At the same time, he felt that mass protesting was "the awakening of distrust".
Manowska in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24 de facto divided protests for the better and worse. She besides avoided answering questions about the politicization of the Chamber to admit these protests. We wrote more about it here.
