Colombia prefers Swedish fighters over French and American ones

Colombia has chosen Gripen military fighters from Sweden, not the French Rafale. Colombian president Gustavo Petro announced in a post on X that his country has opted for JAS 39 Gripen fighters manufactured by the Saab group, which will replace the aging fleet of Israeli Kfir fighters. "These are completely fresh planes, the latest generation, already introduced to Brazil," he added.
