MON Vice-Chief Cezary Tomczyk denied the suggestions of the Head of BBN Sławomir Cenckiewicz on the urgent suspension of essential military service. Tomczyk stressed that the conscription in Poland is only suspended and, if necessary, can be reinstated, but presently there are no specified plans. The Defence Ministry focuses on training volunteers and strengthening the reserve, recognising these activities as a basis for national security.
