Clashes in German Parliament: "A Pure Disaster"

Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) and the leader of the opposition CDU, Friedrich Merz, attacked each another from the rostrum of the German parliament. Scholz accused Merz of intending to "bury Europe" and warned against forming a coalition between the CDU/CSU and the alternate for Germany (AfD). The Christian politician candidate for chancellor criticized Scholz for his economical policy.
