Representatives of the Chinese army are going to Brussels next week for talks with the EU and NATO – the Hong Kong paper "South China Morning Post" revealed on Wednesday, citing sources.
Consultations will take place in the shadow of the ongoing war between the US and Israel and Iran and the increasing transatlantic tensions.
According to the findings of the journal, an EU-China safety Consultation is scheduled for 24 March. They will be chaired by Benedikta von Seherr-Thoss of the European External Action Service. This same week, a delegation from the People's Liberation Army (ALW) will meet with representatives of NATO global Military Staff.
"NATO and China keep regular dialogue, both through civilian and military channels, to build common transparency in order to defend the safety interests of the Alliance," the NATO office authoritative confirmed.
