Chinese military practices Taiwan blockade utilizing Shandong aircraft carrier

The Chinese military said Wednesday that the Shandong carrier strike group is taking part in maneuvers in the Taiwan Strait. Beijing says the exercises are aimed at investigating the ability to establish a blockade of the island. The abroad Ministry in Beijing has announced that it will proceed to "punish" Taiwan.
