Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, media have regularly reported mysterious deaths among Russian business elites and high-ranking officials and military officials. The scale of this phenomenon – even for Russian standards – is unusual. Among them are military commanders, billionaires, energy manufacture oligarchs, prominent company heads and high-ranking state officials.
