Krzysztof Wacławek, erstwhile head of the interior safety Agency, decided reference to the words of Donald Tusk, who stated in an interview that the ABW did not act professionally in the case of checking out Karol Nawrocki and issuing him a safety certificate. "For one more time Prime Minister Donald Tusk misses the truth" – he wrote in a statement.
Former Head of Homeland safety crushes Tusk. The case concerns reports concerning the issue of a safety certificate to Karol Nawrock in 2021. "As erstwhile Head of the interior safety Agency, I powerfully object to the engagement of ABW officers in the electoral run and do not agree to public engagement of officers in the performance of their duties during the time I served as Head of the interior safety Agency" – reads Krzysztof Wacławek's statement.
The officer thus referred to Donald Tusk's comment and his Twitter entry. The head of the Warsaw government wrote that "The investigating case of Nawrocki a Gdańsk ABW officer issued a negative opinion in 2021, but the agency's written head office for unknown reasons did not take it into account".
"The Prime Minister Donald Tusk one more time misses the truth. In 2021, the examination procedure was conducted by the Department for the Protection of Confidential Information of ABW in Warsaw, not by the ABW Delegation in Gdańsk. Therefore, no 'gdanese ABW officer' could give a negative opinion on this proceeding" – assures Wacławek.
As he explained, this was not possible due to the fact that the procedure “It has been carried out in Warsaw in accordance with the regulations in force, and the experts of the interior safety Agency dealing with the protection of classified information for many years recommended the release of safety certificates to the highest clauses to Dr. Karol Nawrock”.
Wacławek expressed hope that the Prime Minister "he was informed that, as part of the audit carried out in the ABW for the years 2016-2023, among others, a very thorough audit included any of the individual safety certificates issued by him, including a file of proceedings against Dr. Karol Nawrocki".
Karol Nawrocki went through the examination procedure for the first time taking up a position in the IPN in 2009. Then he was subjected to him twice more.
