Former neo-KRS chief wants to block the fresh Council

Dagmara Pawełczyk-Woicka resigned from the neo-KRS chairship, but her decision has no legal effect. The word of office of the erstwhile judicial part of the Council ended on 15 May 2026 with the election of a fresh composition by the Sejm. In the background, however, there is simply a political and legal dispute over who and in what composition is to convene the first gathering of the renewed National Judicial Council.
