After U.S. president Donald Trump filed a suit against the British public broadcaster BBC, there politicians – various parties – began defending the station. "The Trump administration has made it clear that it wants to interfere with our democracy, which includes weakening our national broadcaster. Prime Minister Keir Starmer needs to make it clear that this is unacceptable," says Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats.
