Did the European Commission suspend the decision on a trade agreement with Ukraine to aid pro-European candidates in the elections? The findings of the diary of Legal paper show that Brussels could deliberately hold the publication of the paper in order not to harm Rafał Trzaskowski and Nicușor Dan.
In Brussels, work is underway on the provisions of a fresh EU-Ukraine trade agreement. It was originally to be adopted by 4 June. However, the work will most likely be completed at the end of July – informs Monday's "Diary Gazeta Prawna".
"According to DGP's sources, the European Commission could deliberately hold its adoption so as not to harm the pro-European run of candidates for presidents in Poland and Romania – Rafał Trzaskowski (lost) and Nicu?or Dan (wined repeated elections in Romania)", says Monday "Journal of Law Newspapers".
According to the newspaper, there are many adverse entries in the paper for farmers from Central Europe, and favouring Ukrainians.
"Before +Le Monde+ stated that the EC had acted likewise on the migration pact. It was expected to let rhetoric to undermine this paper on the part of the Polish government," he writes. (PAP)
