I remember the question, “Can Almighty God make a stone he cannot lift up?”
I was reminded of that due to the fact that the situation with the Constitutional Tribunal is similar:
- 10 years ago, the written Sejm changed the way the judges were elected to the Constitutional Court. This method was manifestly contrary to the Constitution, but allowed PiS to bring his own to the Court.
- President Nawrocki prevented the recovery process and now according to the inactive flawed bill The parliament with the Democratic majority elected its judges due to the fact that the old man ran out of tenure.
- The PiS and Nawrocki do not like the fresh judges, so they appealed to the Court that the bill they themselves introduced was incompatible with the Constitution.
- If the Court finds non-compliance, it will mean that it has acted illegally for 10 years. Will the judges pay back?
Logic like: “Jan always lies. How will he say, “I always lie,” that is fact or lie?”
