The Presidium of the Sejm, headed by Deputy talker Piotr Zgorzelski (PSL), punished Jarosław Kaczyński and Iwona Arent, as well as 49 another PiS MPs, for the events in the Sejm by taking distant 1/2 of their parliamentary salaries for 3 months. "Politicians of the coalition taking distant salaries from their rivals from the opposition, with whom they are in a toxic and long-term conflict, is simply a blatant violation of the rule of judicial independence" - Krzysztof Bosak referred to the case on Platform X.
