Biden declares willingness to defend Taiwan

US president Joe Biden said in an interview with CBS that in the event of an “unprecedented Chinese attack” on Taiwan, US troops would defend it. He besides reaffirmed the “ironclad” US commitment to helping Ukraine. He refused to confirm that he would run in the next presidential election.
