Before Nicolás Maduro's first trial. What happens in court?

The overthrown Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores will stand on 5 January at noon local time (18:00 Polish time) before a court in fresh York City, where they will formally hear charges. This is the beginning of a process which, as it is estimated, can take a long time.
