The Polish Army reopens the door for civilian volunteers wishing to become professional soldiers. In the next year, junior advanced schools will prepare 1017 courses for volunteers. Those who successfully pass the recruitment will be trained, among others, on paramedics, BSP operators or, as a novelty, on future military chopper pilots.
In 2026, another edition of trainings for civilian enlisted officers will begin. The offer is addressed to adults, who have Polish citizenship and confirmed during the investigation the physical and intellectual capacity for professional military service. Training will be organised in 5 sub-office schools which will receive a full of 1017 capral candidates. This is what the MON's decision of June 30, 2025 assumes. It is simply a paper issued annually, specifying, among others, the limit of places and the rules of recruitment for training.
Poznań, Zegre, how about Ustka?

"Sonda" Petty School in Zegrzu will prepare 138 seats for candidates. They will be trained in groups: light infantry (10 seats), the operation of communication systems (65 in 2 editions) and the operation of information systems (63 in 2 editions).
101 seats will be waiting for volunteers at the Podoficer's Land Army School in Poznań. The training will be passed by future military: cryptologists (21 seats), paramedics (47), pharmacists (1), nurses (8), musicians (15) and cybersecurity specialists (9).
The School of Petty Logistics in the Group will offer a full of 71 seats: 67 in the medical rescue group, and 4 in the nursing group. You will besides be able to apply for a seat on the course at the Naval Infantry School in Ustka. There will be 55 seats waiting for volunteers in the radio-technical (30), method (6) and anti-aircraft rocket kits (19).
Documentary time
The first step for volunteers will be to submit the essential papers to any selected military recruitment centre. This is in addition to e.g. the graduation certificate besides the application for appointment to voluntary essential military service completed in the course of training in a junior advanced school. Although the training will not begin until 2026, in any cases volunteers will gotta file papers this year. The least time, due to the fact that the deadline is 28 November, have those who want to apply to “Sondy” in Zegrzu (I edition of the training). By 2 December, candidates must apply to the Oaklin facility (I edition of the training), and by 11 December volunteers wishing to train in the Group.
The another terms are as follows: candidates for a school in Poznań must apply until 12 June 2026, in Ustka until 6 February 2026, to “Sondy” until 24 June 2026 (the second edition), and to an air force school until 3 April (the second edition) and until 21 August (the 3rd edition).
Persons who will be positively recruited, including PE test and the interview, will start the course with training in voluntary essential military service. Then they will have specialist training, whose duration will depend on the course profile. all period they will receive remuneration of PLN 6.2 1000 gross. After the course, the volunteers will be appointed as caprals and will power the ranks of the professional army.
