In the US, Donald Trump will meet Volodymyr Zelenski on Monday, accompanied by another leaders from Europe. A delegation from Poland will not appear in Washington. A strong entry in this case was just added by our head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs.


"I inform you that the president of the United States invites to meetings at the White House, with whom Polish representatives of the MAGA movement and personally president Karol Nawrocki have privileged relations. I ask them to usage them for Poland and Europe" - wrote the head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski on Monday on the X website.



The White home is expected to include German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Finnish president Alexander Stubb, French president Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Let us add that on Sunday, US president Donald Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff, announced crucial advancement in negotiations with Russia on future peace in Ukraine.

According to Witkoff, Vladimir Putin agreed to include a safeguard clause in the agreement Ukraine is protected in accordance with Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which obliges NATO members to defend each other.

As Witkoff explained, this proposal constitutes a compromise to circumvent Russian request that Ukraine should never become a NATO member.
