The Ministry of Digitalism warns against a fresh wave of scams associated with impersonating cyber criminals under the mCitizen app. Cybercriminals usage fake ads on social media that redirect to websites imitating the authoritative app to scam individual data and money. The Ministry calls for the usage of the authoritative version of the application only and for peculiar care to be taken in all suspicious contacts or offers concerning mCitizen
