In 1939, Stalin, together with Hitler, concluded an act that opened the way for planet War II and consumed the lives of millions of people worldwide. Poland became the first victim of German and later russian aggression – wrote president Karol Nawrocki in social media. He added that "Germany has not paid the wrongs account to this day; in Russia, it revives imperial resentiments". "Out of that fact, today's planet should draw conclusions and not let sick dreams of the empire to consume more human lives," he stressed.
In Russia, imperial resumptions are revived. From that fact, today's planet should draw conclusions and not let sick dreams of the empire to consume more human lives," he added.
The beginning of planet War II 01 - 17.09.1939.
They don't want to remember their crimes today.
On the morning of 1 September 1939 German troops without declaring war crossed the borders of the Republic of Poland. On September 17, 1939, around 4 a.m., the russian Union armedly attacked Poland. Stalin thus fulfilled the August secret agreement with Hitler (Pakt Ribbentrop-Molotov), which provided for a common aggression towards the Republic, the business and division of its territory and the actual liquidation of the Polish state. The 3rd Reich and the USSR, over a period of just over 2 weeks, started the outbreak of planet War II, the largest armed conflict in human history.
The direct origin of this aggression was the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact. It was signed on 23 August 1939, containing the division of Central Europe into spheres of influence – German and Soviet. On September 1, there was an attack by German troops. However, the russian Union did not immediately aid the Germans, but waited until Poland was very weakened. The Soviets moved towards the Polish borders on 17 September, encountering opposition of tiny Polish forces. The USSR yet occupied more than half of the territory of the Second Republic. For the inhabitants of these lands, this meant a very turbulent and hard time. First 2 years of russian occupation, then 3 German years, after which Poland, for respective decades, went into the russian sphere of influence – the alleged east bloc.
September 17 is besides celebrated planet Sibirak Day. The direct consequence of the russian attack was the export of hundreds of thousands of Poles to the east, in the most distant corners of the russian Union. Many died during transports, many already at the destination of deportation. Only any of our exiled people managed to return to Poland, but they had to live with these tragic memories.
During the period of the Polish People's Republic, russian aggression against Poland and mass deportations carried out by the USSR were a taboo theme, and repression was threatened for its movement. Therefore, now that we can talk about this subject without any obstacles, it is our work to remember this communicative and all those affected by these tragic events.
